The curriculum for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program prepares students for future management careers in profit and non-profit organizations. Students are provided with the management knowledge and skills in required areas of study including economic analysis, managerial accounting, organizational theory, human relations, communications, quantitative analysis, finance, marketing, and strategic management. The carefully chosen coursework allows students to develop required thinking skills, the ability to communicate with clarity and make required management decisions. All students are given insight into the ethical dilemmas now facing today’s business managers and how to react with responsibility and compassion. The program is designed to meet the flexibility needed by working students, many of whom also have families, by offering coursework on a part-time basis, with classes held in the evening and online. The concentration in Health care Administration prepares students to manage Health care settings with core coursework in health policy, health care economics, health care information systems, ethical and legal issues in health care management, and health care strategy and policy decisions.

Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing MBA for Executives
Saint Joseph’s University Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is specifically designed for working professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, and health care sectors. Curriculum for the program allows students to learn to think strategically in the midst of changing health policies and regulations, patent expirations, new product launches, and considerations for payers and patient compliance. The program is available to students through any combination of traditional classroom format or online coursework allowing them the flexibility to continue working while pursuing their degree. Students must complete 24 two-credit courses in various pharmaceutical and health care business areas building a foundation of advanced business principles. Students can complete the MBA in 12 months or up to six years. The College of Health Science
Founded in 1919 as the Pennsylvania State College of Optometry, Salus University is a private coed university located in Elkins Parks Pennsylvania. Salus offers degree programs in optometry, audiology, physician assistant, occupational therapy, public health, and biomedicine and is one of the oldest optometry colleges in North America. Renamed Salus University– the university consists of four colleges: the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, the George S. Osborne College of Audiology, the College of Education and Rehabilitation and the College of Health Sciences. The College of Health Sciences was founded in 2008 and contains the Physician Assistant and Public Health Programs.
Master of Public Health
Curriculum for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program provides students with the skills and knowledge required in addressing health care and population needs with instruction, research, and service. The format for the MPH programs is offered in a blended format combining effective learning, communication, and mentoring students globally. Students obtain broad knowledge in core areas of public health and through required capstone projects students participate in collaborative partnerships in their communities to experience practical, real-world experiences. Because students have the flexibility in pursuing their MPH in a distance learning format it is easy for working professionals and students seeking dual degrees to pursue their graduate education. Founded in 1903 as Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing, Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences is a coed private college that offers a variety of associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as certificate programs in health care. The school opened with a mission to provide educational advancement for the hospital’s nursing staff and fill the needs of the local community with qualified health care providers. In August 2013, Lancaster General changed its name to Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. Throughout its 100-year history, the college has grown from 1 nursing program to 14-health science and nursing programs, and in the fall of 2015, the school began to offer graduate programs in four areas of study.
