Granite State College Application Requirements

Applications are open to anyone, but students should check to ensure that their desired program is available in their area. All applications must include high school or college transcripts or proof of homeschooling or a GED. Graduate students must show evidence of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Admissions to GSC are based on the applicant’s grade point average, SAT or ACT scores, class ranking and level of course difficulty. Incoming freshmen must have completed the following required high school courses:

  • Four years of English and history
  • Three years of science courses, such as chemistry, biology, and physics
  • Three years of social studies
  • Three semesters of upper-level mathematics
  • Two years of a foreign language

Spring registration begins January 28, and fall registration opens July 14. Applications for financial aid are due two weeks before classes begin, but earlier applications will have priority consideration.
