Students complete five concentration areas to meet their individual career aspirations or may choose a specialization in a specific concentration area including: Leadership, Health Policy, Health Program Planning, Community Health Outreach, and Health Information Management.

Master of Public Health

The Mission of the Master of Public Health (MPH) program is “preparing public health professionals for leadership to advance public health, promote individual and community health and well-being, and decrease health disparities locally, nationally, and globally”. The online MPH program provides a flexible curriculum to allow students the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the growing needs of domestic and global health and wellness. The program consists of fifteen courses (four credits for each program) and two electives for a total of sixty-four credit hours. Coursework includes: Introduction to Public Health Concepts, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health Policy, Fundamentals of Research in Public Health, Public Health Systems Policy and Management, Community Health Informatics, Environmental Health Sciences and a Public Health Practicum.
