Best Scholarships and Grants for Healthcare Management Students

I want to earn my master’s in healthcare management but I need financial assistance to do so. Are there scholarships or grants available? How do I find scholarships or grants that are available?

Healthcare management scholarships at the master’s degree level (also referred to as fellowships) provide tuition money to student and do not have to be repaid after graduation. Scholarships are usually given to students based on academic merit and many come with a teaching or research responsibility. Most schools have scholarships available designed specifically for their students but there are also organizations and governmental departments providing scholarships to pursue a masters in Healthcare management/administration.

Foster G. McGraw Graduate Student Scholarship – Awarding up to twenty $5000 scholarships to Master of Healthcare Management/Administration students in their last year of the program.

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation – Awarding up to $30,000 to students pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Service. Potential scholars must be residents of US and hold a bachelors level degree

Lloyd G. Balfour Fellowships – Sponsored by the North American Interfraternal Foundation based on academic records and high merit. Every year up to 10 scholars receive a fellowship worth $1,000 to $5,000

There are many federal grant programs available to students through federal or state money allocated. Students applying for a grant to pursue a Masters in Health Management/Administration must pursue through Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.
