Additionally, students can participate in an optional professional development and mentoring program. The program requires forty to forty-two credits to complete, depending on the choice of capstone project and can be completed full time in less than two years. On a part-time basis, the program can be completed in as little as three years. Through the concentration in Healthcare Leadership, students acquire the skills necessary to successfully become leaders within Healthcare organizations to affect positive changes in the Healthcare industry. Through coursework, students will examine the financial aspects of Healthcare allowing them a better understanding of budgetary restrictions while working toward fulfilling an organization’s vision and goals.
Master of Business Administration/Master of Arts in Management Dual Degree
The dual Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts in Management (MAM) program allows students less required credit hours as both degrees require the same seven core courses. Dual degree students are required to complete both the MAM and MBA tracks of core courses and an elective concentration from both programs. They will finish the dual degree program with a four-credit Capstone “Plus” project. A total of fifty-nine credits (with a six or eight credit capstone project) are required for completion of the dual degree program.
