Master’s in Healthcare Management Degrees in Delaware

The state of Delaware is amongst the smallest states in the United States. Because of this, the state has not developed the same academic reputation as many of the larger states on the East Coast. However, what are often overlooked are two well-esteemed, fully accredited academic programs offering Master’s of Business Administration Degrees in Healthcare Management in the state of Delaware, either online or on campus.

Delaware has recently seen a significant spike of more than 30 percent in the health care industry. This is much higher than most other states in the country. The mean annual income for medical and health services managers in Delaware is $101,570, which is above the national average according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2012 data. In order to meet or exceed this mean salary, a Master’s Degree is highly recommended. This rise should continue over the next five to ten years, as the Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected a 23 percent increase in the field across the United States (which is also much higher than average).
