Top 20 Executive MBA in Healthcare Programs 2015

HCMTop Doctoral Graduate ProgramsBy Kristen Fescoe
Published August, 2015

This ranking highlights the top 20 executive MBA programs for healthcare professionals available in 2015.

Ranking Methodology

The goal of this ranking was to identify the top executive MBA programs offering a degree in the growing field of healthcare management. The system controlling how points are awarded is as follows.

Program Flexibility

One of the strengths of an executive program is program flexibility. Programs that offer students the ability to complete coursework online are often a better fit for busy working professionals. Schools offering the most flexibility to interested students are given preference.

Points:
Schools offering online degree options = 2 points

Length of Program

Programs that offer an executive degree in a shorter timeframe help students make the next step in their career sooner.

Points:
18 Months or Less / 19-20 Months / 21-24 Months
3 Points / 2 Points / 1 Point

Cost of Attendance

Another being carefully considered is the overall annual cost of attendance. Schools offering respected executive degree options, while also keeping student costs low are given higher consideration. The data used for comparison is the net cost of attendance as provided by the National Center for Education Statistics College Navigator tool; however, when that data was unavailable, information was gathered directly from the graduate program.

Points:
Under $60,000 / $60,001 – $75,000 / $75,001 -$90,000:
